Zavkhan province received 6000 local tourists and 300 foreign tourists who stayed in local hotels, ger camps and resorts in 2008. In Zavkhan province, tourists can choose from 40 Zavkhan hotels and motels which have total capacity of 400 beds. Some of these hotels are suitable for tourists to stay there, for instance; Uliastai hotel, Skyline hotel, Uranbaigal hotel, Jim hotel, Bolorjit hotel, Dush hotel and Urguu hotel. The Zavkhan hotels room types are standard, semi deluxe and deluxe. Normally deluxe and semi deluxe rooms are more suitable for tourists, because these rooms have karaoke, fitness, tennis, shower, bathroom, fridge, jug kettle and cable TV inside of room.
The Uliastai Hotel is located in the center of capital town Uliastai. It was built in 2009 and there is 30 rooms which are 4 types, such as; standard, semi standard, deluxe and business deluxe twin room. The hotel facilities are cable TV, Internet, minibar, VIP room and Pub. This hotel is the best one of Zavkhan province hotels. The restaurant has 80-90seats and serves by Mongolian, and European dishes.
