The Gobi-Altai province received 1573 local tourists and 197 foreign tourists in 2010, most of them were from Italy, Spain, Turkey and America. In Gobi-Altai province, accommodations Altai is 4 hotels, 5 tourist ger camps, 2resorts, 6 restaurants and a few small private motels serve for tourists. The Gobi Altai hotels are Mandal-Altai hotel, Tulga -Altai hotel, Zaluur -Altai motel and Dugana hotel which are nearly in the center. These hotels have 12-16 rooms and 13-32 beds. Room types are standard, semi deluxe and deluxe. Normally deluxe and semi deluxe rooms are more suitable for tourists, because have shower, bathroom, fridge, jug kettle and cable TV inside of room. Hotels have restaurants and offer Mongolian and European dishes. There is only hotel which is 2 star rated Mandal-Altai hotel.
The Tulga-Altai hotel was established in 2000 and restored in spring 2009. it is located 800m from the main square of city center, next to the New Altai biggest market of province. The hotel is 2 storied orange building in Bayanshand food factory. Since June 2009, the hotel has been working more comfortable and nicer than past years. Room types are standard, semi deluxe and deluxe. Hotel has cable TV, shower, and Cafe World'.
