4 star in a town short on good hotels
4 star hotel in a city short on quality hotels, a little run down. Nice big rooms, ADSL internet in some rooms, breakfast average

It's OK -- and that's pretty good for UB
I travel to UB often and have been comparing hotels. The GK is safe, clean and attached to a big department store. It's also fairly convenient. The rooms are Soviet-style but not bad. Good food is also very close.
