Bayan Ulgii province is one of the main tourist destinations in Mongolia. The number of tourists are increasing every year and specially during the Eagle festival and Nauriza holiday. In the Ulgii city, there are some hotels accommodate tourists and 3 of them are more available to the guests from local provinces and foreign countries. These Bayan Ulgii hotels are Bastau hotel, Duman hotel and Tavan Bogd hotel which are in the center of Ulgii city. These hotels have 8-18 rooms and 15-37 beds. Room types are standard, semi deluxe and deluxe. Normally deluxe and semi deluxe rooms are more suitable for tourists, because these rooms have shower, bathroom, fridge, jug kettle and cable TV inside of room. Hotels have restaurants and offer Mongolian traditional and European dishes.
The Bastau hotel is located in the center of Ulgii city, next to the main square of province. it was built in 1997 and there is 14 rooms with 44 beds. Room types are standard 7 rooms, semi deluxe 4 and deluxe 4 rooms which has hot shower and mini bar inside of them. The rooms have cable TV and kettle, Cafe Bastau with 30 seats and serves to the guests by traditional dishes.

Mongolia countryside hotels are from 21 aimags (provinces), such as Arkhangai, Gobi-Altai, Bayan-Ulgii, Darkhan-Uul, Dornod, Dornogobi, Khentii, Khovd, Khuvsgul, Orkhon-Uul, Selenge, Sukhbaatar, Uvs, Uvurkhangai and Zavkhan. Among the joined Mongolia countryside hotels, there are 2 star 1 hotel, 1 star 1 hotel and other local hotels are not yet rated.
