The Dundgobi province received 3477 foreign and 1362 local tourists in the Ger camps in 2009. Besides, them totally 6000-7000 tourists visited .
In Dundugobi province, there are 5 hotels in the Mandalgobi capital town. The Dundgobi Hotels are Altangobi hotel, Mandal hotel, Temuujin hotel, Gobi hotel, Builder's hotel. All of Hotels in Mandalgobi are all not yet rated and generalhotel room facilities are VIP room, billiard, massage, tennis, karaoke, pub, buffets and restaurants. These Dundgobi hotels have 3 types of room; standard,semi deluxe and deluxe. Normally deluxe and semi deluxe rooms are more suitable for tourists, because have shower, bath, fridge, jug kettle and cable TV inside of room. Hotels have restaurants and offer Mongolian and European dishes.
The Altangobi hotel is located in Mandalgobi town which is capital of Dundbogi province. It is located near the Local court, Sport community Coach station 800m. The hotel has restauran, bar, laundry, billiard and car park. The Altangobi hotel has 12 rooms with 40 beds.
