Mongolian largest airport is the Chinggis International Airport which is 18 km southwest of the capital Ulaanbaatar.In Mongolia, the first airport was established in 14, February, 1957. It was named as a Buyant-Ukhaa airport and one year later they did international flights to Moscov and Beijing on first time. Since 2005, the airport has been using new name Chinggis Khaan International Airport. The airport is the main base of operations for national carriers MIAT Mongolian Airlines, Eznis Airways and Aero Mongolia.
